How entries are made
The platform monitors government websites and feeds, extracts the text of notices and attachments, and proposes candidates. A curator checks every candidate against the source before it is published. Deadlines, venues, email addresses and hearing schedules are quoted from the document; if the notice does not state one, the field is left empty rather than guessed.
Facts, explanations and views are kept apart
Quoted facts sit under the heading "Facts from the source". The plain-language explanation is written by the platform and labelled as such. Results pages show what respondents said, with the number of responses, the channels and the counties, and never describe them as the views of Kenyans in general.
Your data
Submissions are stored under a pseudonym. Your name, phone number and email are not stored with your answers. Aggregates are published only when at least ten people have responded, and county breakdowns are hidden below that number. What you write in your own words is passed to the institution running the consultation, without your name, so please leave out anything that identifies you. You can ask for your submissions to be deleted by quoting your reference number.
What happened next
After a window closes, the platform records official events with evidence: committee reports, readings in Parliament, amended texts, Gazette notices and final Acts. It links what respondents raised to what the institution said and what changed in the text, and it does not claim that one caused the other.
